Acetate Oranges

To create my acetate sheet I sliced oranges and placed them on a photocopier, I then left the lid open and scanned the image.

This creates a clear vein-like image the allows certain parts of the image to shine through the vein structure of the orange slices.

Whenever I create a piece I place the acetate sheet over the image to see how it works as a composition and whether it makes the piece more successful.

Here a few examples I used after I created the fruit images on Photoshop:

They all look very similar to one another, I don't believe these work as well as compositions as the original images are already well balanced without the additional acetate.
